Happy New Year's Eve!
So I'm sitting here
reflecting on the past year and how I came to be where I am now.
Last year on New Year's Eve, I felt that I had no focus and no real goals. I was alone and was feeling pretty lost in my life given that I had just lost my job and had no idea how I was going to pay the bills.
I was involved in network marketing, but after I left one network marketing company and joined two more, I realized that network marketing just isn't for me. Networking is and marketing is, but being with a network marketing company just really does not suit me. I worked as a contractor and a part time retail employee for a little while and figured out that I really do not like working for other people. I learned about affiliate marketing which opened my eyes to all the
possibilities it has to offer. I read book after book and got inspired
to write my own book. Towards the end of 2014, I decided that I really should work for myself and so I started my own company.
I also discovered vegetarianism and I learned how to eat healthier and cleaner. I lost a little bit of weight and because of that, I have made friends and set a goal to do a 60 day juice cleanse in 2015. I'm starting that tomorrow and I'm super excited. I wrote a book about juicing and I'm already writing a follow up complete with recipes and advice on how to live and eat clean in the real world.
My fiance came to visit me and I am so blessed to have someone so amazing who loves me no matter what I look like or what I am doing. I love him so much and I am blessed to know him and have him in my life.
So that's where I am today. Life is good.
I have so many goals and plans for 2015 that even I am in awe of some of them. I want to write more books and help as many people as I can lead healthy happy lives. I also want to help as many people as I can escape the 9 to 5 and make money using the internet. I want my friends and family to be happy and healthy and have lives they are proud of. And I'm going to do all of those things.....All of them.
So that is what I am thinking about today. My wonderful, blessed happy little crazy life and how it's amazing today and will be even more amazing in the new year.
Happy New Year!
Just like the title, this blog is about the adventures of a curly girl who works from home and loves cats.

Feeling Accomplished
Have you ever wanted to do something or be something so badly, but had no idea how to get there or what to do to get started!
Me too!
I've always wanted to write a book. Always. Since like forever and ever. I had great ideas for books too, but for some reason I never could get out of my own way to start. I was too afraid, or I didn't have enough time or.... You name it. I had a laundry list of excuses.
Well....those days are long gone. I've nearly finished writing my first book. It's not a long one and I'm still working on it, but I am so proud of myself for sitting down and writing it!!
See, last week I read a book called "The Laptop Millionaire" and in it the author, Mark Anastasi has a chapter about ebooks and how everyone should write one and sell it.
For some reason, that chapter really hit home because for a while now, I've been promoting other people's ebooks and products as an affiliate. It's been rather successful and I am thankful for that, but why not write and promote my own book?
Ah ha! How cool would that be? I think it'd be super cool!
..so that's what's I have been working on. I still need to get a website up and running for it so I can promote it and sell it. Setting up a web page still has me a bit flummoxed but that's ok. I wrote a book which is an accomplishment in an of itself!
