Zoom, zoom zoom...

Spring fever is upon me. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping and the cats...well, they're just cats, but they are now spending more time outside as a result of Spring finally being sprung.

I'm so glad I started LC'ing when I did because I have so much to do and it seems like never enough time to finish it all. The only thing different now is that I have all this boundless energy. I don't know where it came from, but it's here and I'm going to use it.

ZOOM zoom zoom.......

Today I went and ran 2 miles because I have to. "Have to" because I am joining the Army reserves and I need to lose fat/weight and get my 'mile' down to 13 minutes or less. Today I pushed myself a bit more than usual and ran a 15 min mile. For me, that's awesome cause I hate to run....although lately I don't hate running like I used to. I guess it's because my running has a purpose and a goal behind it.

Anywho...I went and picked up a few things from Target and Petco that I needed for the house and the 'family'. I also bought my best friend her present. I never know what to get her, so I've succumbed to giving her gift cards. Yeah, it's impersonal, but she's impossible to buy for.

Once I got home, I cleaned up a bit in the house and then I headed to my garden. It's 80 degrees outside, sunny and beautiful today: a perfect day for the garden. I planted one rose bush, harvested and moved some earthworms from one bed to another. I don't know why it is that the one flowerbed always has 100's of earthworms, but it does. I don't think they mind being moved.

I finished the rose bush, then I attacked the veggie garden. OMG...the soil was so lovely when I was digging it out. I can't wait to get my veggies planted. I have them all in little pots in my sunroom, just bursting with life...oh they are going to be so happy in the garden this year... SOOO...I rototilled the one area and cleaned up a bit. I also did a little inspection of my fruit trees. We better not get another frost cause those babies are blooming like mad and I'd hate for them to lose their blossoms.

And now I'm sitting here, writing and wondering what I'm going to do next. I have a quilt I need to finish. I have a couple of handbags I need to finish cutting and sewing. I have to take a shower at some point.

OH yeah and eat....hmm..I'll do that when I'm hungry.
