New Favourites

I just finished my breakfast. It was so delicious. It's hard to believe that I get to eat such wonderful, succulent food, be full AND get to lose weight. It almost feels illegal!

Ha ha..but that's how it goes when you eat LC. I can't believe I never tried this WOE before! Despite that fact, I am so glad I found it when I did.

So what DO I eat exactly? My friends as me this same question quite a bit these days. Good food, I tell them, as I snort.

Here's a list of my new favourites:

Cheese, all varieties, all types and all full fat
Rotisserie chicken
Bacon
Steak
Pork chops
Stir fry veggies with a variety of meats or tofu
Peel and eat shrimp with lemon
Sausage, all sorts as long as carb count is less that 2 per link
Eggs, OMG I can't live without eggs
Jalapeno poppers with whipped cream cheese
Hot wings
Celery with whipped cream cheese
Steamed broccoli with butter and lemon pepper
Coleslaw with homemade dressing

The list is even longer, but those right now are my favourites.

Something I am noticing lately is that I am nearly not as hungry as I used to be. Now when I sit down to eat a BIG plate of food, I end up eating maybe half of it. I'm really enjoying this aspect of this WOL because I end up cooking once and getting 2-3 meals out of it. It's lovely!

For instance, I went to dinner last week with a friend and ordered a full rack of baby back ribs. It was delicious, but I could only eat a few ribs while we were sitting there at the restaurant. Now 6 months ago, I would have eaten ALL of the ribs, come home and still been hungry and probably eaten even more!!

Also, on some days I am just more hungry than others. I don't know what that's all about, but I think it has something to do with the fact that my body is burning it's energy reserves so there is no need for me to eat....so I don't. It's kind of crazy.

but I am loving it. Overall this WOL is my most favourite of them all!
