I'm BACK! Did'ya miss me?

I'm BACK!!!

Wow! It's been so long since I blogged that I think I might have forgotten how to! hahaha...

Ok maybe not really, but jeez...what a downer that last blog was. It's ok though because we all have those days. That was obviously one of mine.

So where am I at today and what is going on in the land o'the curly girl.

OH, HEAPS and HEAPS!

For one, I have been working alot in Hollywood, or 'Tamalewood' as we affectionately call it here in NM. Starting in April, I have gotten to work on In Plain Sight, As Cool As I Am, Odd Thomas and a 48 hour film project entitled The Case of the Stolen Mask. I also got called to audition for a TV show called All Worked Up AND I got the part which was exhilerating considering I haven't been on a real audition for something of that sort in over 20 years! Granted, my role got cut and I was thankful after I heard what happened at the shoot but still. They chose me :) I love it when they choose me! Sooner or later, I will return to the wood and have a real role, with lines and everything. :) Woo hoo hoo!!

Now having done all this wonderful work in entertainment, I have made a bunch of friends along the way! New friends! Fun friends! People that just make the whole day better by sitting with you and sharing a chocolate malt. Most of them are from the 'wood' and I am so thankful for them.

We've all started going to this trivia game and kareoke weekly and it's just too much fun! I swear, it's so nice to have people to hang out with again. I have definitely spent too much time cooped up by myself :)

Anyway, I've also found a job with a small local company in sales. It's not kicked off exactly as I expected, but I am rolling with it anyway. The best part is I am in a way my own boss and I get to work from home which has been a dream of mine for years.

I've also started a new nutrition program because eventually I'd like to do more 'tamalewood' work and so far, I've lost 10 lbs and nearly a pant size. As a result of finding this fabulous nutrition program, I've made some friends as well from all over the country. They are so fabulous because they are so supportive and encouraging of me taking off all this weight. In fact, they call me 'Hollywood' and I just laugh!

SO it's been one hell of a fun time for the curly girl!!
